Come back home to yourself.

Get help with debilitating moods, depression, stress, anxiety, confusion, or uncertainty.

Life happens. We lose our sense of home. Unwatered plants die, balloons of pride deflate. We become strangers to our own selves. We don’t feel at home in our bodies.

Homecoming is coming back to yourself. Making your body and mind your home again.

Like a sparrow rebuilding her nest. And then snuggling back in the nest, yawning.

A yawning sparrow in a cozy nest. Homecoming.

Psychodynamic Psychotherapist using IFS and EMDR

Sankalp Batra (he/him/his)

The chapters in my life have provided me with the lived experience and training necessary to offer a non-hierarchical, collaborative, and non-judgmental space for my patients and clients. I welcome clients of all religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities and offer a queer-friendly, kink-friendly, and caste-aware space.

I provide psychodynamic therapy using Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). While psychodynamic therapy is about a century old and offers timeless wisdom, EMDR and IFS are newer trauma modalities that are transforming the mental health paradigm. IFS, for instance, is hailed by trauma-expert Bessel van der Kolk as the “go-to treatment method that all clinicians should know”.

My approach is based on an empowering, non-pathologizing, wellness model. I believe in everyone’s capacity to access and build on resiliency and personal resources.
